Japanese Forest Cabin Website

Project Overview

Japanese Forest Cabin is a vacation-rental website I created in WordPress. The project helped me practice building pages, organizing navigation, applying brand styles, and creating a consistent experience across a website

Japanese Forest Cabin vacation rental homepage with navigation, forest cabin hero image, and booking button.

Project Goal

The goal was to create a calm and welcoming website for a fictional forest cabin near Mount Fuji. Visitors needed to understand what the rental offered, explore information about the property, and find a clear way to book a stay

My Process

I began by planning the website’s pages and gathering images that matched the peaceful Japanese forest theme. I created a mood board, selected colors and typography, built the pages in WordPress, and then connected them through the navigation menu. I also tested the buttons and links to make sure they worked

Tools Used

  • WordPress
  • Canva
  • Google Fonts
  • WordPress block editor

Final Result

The final website uses natural imagery, a warm neutral background, simple typography, and clear navigation. The design creates a quiet atmosphere while giving visitors useful information about the cabin
